In the late summer of 2021, a tragedy unfolded in a south Phoenix residence that cut short the life of 41-year-old Sheronda Dyer. On the morning of Friday, September 3rd, a family member made a grim discovery at a home near 59th Avenue and Broadway Road, finding Dyer with clear signs of trauma. The Phoenix Police Department was called to the scene in the 5600 block of West Pueblo Avenue just before 11 a.m. and immediately began investigating her death as a homicide.
