In the late hours of a Thursday night in Phoenix, Arizona, the life of 23-year-old Susana Villa Gomez was tragically cut short. On May 10, 2018, police responded to reports of gunfire at a hotel located at 49th Avenue and McDowell Road. Inside, they discovered Susana with a fatal gunshot wound. She was rushed to a nearby hospital, but succumbed to her injuries.
