A promising future was tragically cut short for 18-year-old Arian Anderson, a freshman forward on the Dyersburg State Community College men's basketball team. On the evening of Monday, November 25, 2024, Anderson was fatally shot at the St. John Apartments in Dyersburg, Tennessee. The Dyersburg State community was deeply saddened by the loss of the cherished and talented young man, who was remembered for the light he brought into the lives of his family, friends, and teammates.
