In the spring of 2018, the life of 18-year-old DaRonte Herbert was tragically cut short in Dyersburg, Tennessee. On April 19, 2018, Herbert was discovered shot and killed on Slaughter Pen Road. His death was quickly ruled a homicide, leaving his family and the community grappling with a senseless act of violence. His mother, Fameka Herbert, remembered her son as a young man of God who had a passion for dancing and rapping, someone who was always the life of the party.
