On December 9, 2024, at approximately 3:30 p.m., the Kansas City Police Department responded to reports of gunfire in the 6000 block of Blue Hills Road. Upon arrival, officers were directed to a vehicle in the parking lot of the Charter Landing apartment complex, where they discovered two teenagers suffering from gunshot wounds.
