On a December morning in Elwood, Indiana, a welfare check led to a grim discovery at the residence of Cynthia Mae Odle. On December 5, 2024, police officers entered the home on South G Street to find 74-year-old Cynthia and her 69-year-old husband, Louis Odle, both deceased. The couple had sustained fatal gunshot wounds. Cynthia Mae Odle was a White female. The local coroner confirmed their deaths at the scene, casting a somber mood over the quiet neighborhood.
