On December 13, 2024, Roderick Hall, 38, of Midfield, Alabama, was fatally shot outside the Brighton Community Center in Brighton, Alabama. The incident occurred around 2:18 p.m. during a funeral repast for Fredrick Lee Samuel, 62. Hall was attending the gathering when the shooting took place.
