On December 18, 2024, 69-year-old Reginald Crenshaw was fatally shot in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred around 7:35 p.m. in the 200 block of 3rd Avenue South, in the city's North Titusville neighborhood. Upon receiving a ShotSpotter alert, Birmingham police officers arrived at the scene and found Crenshaw unresponsive in the front yard of a residence. He was pronounced dead approximately an hour later by the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office.
