On February 14, 2023, at approximately 5:14 a.m., 36-year-old Ali Ismail was fatally shot outside his home in the 1400 block of Prentice Street in Arlington, Texas. Ismail, a father of six with a seventh child on the way, had just returned from his overnight shift at a trucking company when he encountered two individuals attempting to burglarize vehicles in his neighborhood.
