On March 21, 2023, 55-year-old Khudhair Hamdan of Arlington, Texas, was fatally shot while assisting a family member in selling a car through a social media platform. Hamdan had arranged to meet two potential buyers for a test drive of the vehicle, a purple Dodge Charger. The meeting took place at his residence in the 700 block of Port Richmond Way.
