On March 26, 2019, in Wasilla, Alaska, 29-year-old Joshua Kelsey was fatally shot during an altercation with 31-year-old Christopher Lorentsen. The incident occurred in a residential subdivision, where Alaska State Troopers responded to reports of gunfire around 5 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Kelsey's body outside the home and a woman, whose identity was not disclosed, suffering from a gunshot wound to her leg.
