On December 4, 2023, at approximately 1:15 a.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting incident in the 1300 block of Hartsdale Drive. Upon arrival, officers found two men with gunshot wounds outside a residence. Both individuals were transported to a local hospital, where 25-year-old Luis Manuel Martinez succumbed to his injuries. The second victim, a 48-year-old man whose identity has not been disclosed, was treated and listed in stable condition.
