Chester Pickett, a 37-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on March 17, 2017, in Dallas, Texas. The incident occurred during a confrontation with his wife, Shazetta Jackson-Pickett, at his workplace on West Ledbetter Drive in the Dallas suburb of Red Bird. The couple had been married for 20 years and were reportedly experiencing ongoing marital problems.
