On July 21, 2024, at approximately 3:55 AM, Dallas police responded to a shooting call in the 3300 block of W. Pentagon Parkway, near the intersection with S. Westmoreland Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered 31-year-old Patrick Lee Island II lying on the ground with gunshot wounds. Dallas Fire Rescue responded to the scene, but Mr. Island was pronounced deceased upon their arrival.
