Joseph John Minasi, a 37-year-old male of Italian ethnicity from Dallas, Texas, tragically lost his life on June 29, 1984. He was one of six victims in a mass shooting at Ianni's restaurant and club in Dallas. The incident occurred when Abdelkrim Belachheb, a 39-year-old Moroccan man, opened fire in the nightclub, killing six people and injuring one. Belachheb was reportedly angered by a woman who rejected his advances, and he began shooting patrons at close range.
