Harold Lee Hammons

Harold Lee Hammons, a 28-year-old African American male, was a dedicated officer with the Dallas Police Department. Tragically, he lost his life on January 22, 1992, while serving a search warrant at an apartment complex in the 8500 block of Park Lane. Officer Hammons was accidentally shot and killed by a fellow officer while clearing the kitchen of the apartment.
