Marlyn Lamar Gillespie, an 18-year-old male of African American ethnicity from Dallas, Texas, tragically lost his life on August 17, 2022. Marlyn was driving his mother's car when he was shot multiple times by Chadwick Avery, a 17-year-old who was considered Marlyn's best friend.
