Damon Lerone Hines, a 39-year-old African American man from Dallas, Texas, was tragically killed on May 4, 2019. He was found shot near the back of an apartment complex in the 2700 block of E. Ledbetter at approximately 1:12 a.m. Damon was pronounced dead at the scene. His death was part of a particularly violent night in Dallas, which saw five fatal shootings in a span of seven hours.
