Gustavo Lopez Estrada, a 27-year-old Hispanic male, was found fatally shot inside his vehicle in Downtown Dallas on August 20, 2022. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 3:15 a.m., when officers were called to the 2300 block of Pacific Avenue. Upon arrival, police met with a 20-year-old witness who was with Estrada at the time of the shooting. Estrada was inside his vehicle and had been shot. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
