On April 8, 2023, 14-year-old Adiel Garcia Aguirre and 15-year-old Cesar Christopher Trochez-Maravilla were found deceased in a vehicle near County Roads 5260 and 5200 in the Santa Fe subdivision south of Plum Grove, Texas. Both teenagers had sustained multiple gunshot wounds, and their vehicle was discovered approximately 50-60 feet from a group mailbox by a resident checking their mail.
