On a Sunday evening in the Girard Estates neighborhood of South Philadelphia, tragedy struck when 15-year-old Omar Wade was killed in a double shooting on October 4, 2020. The incident unfolded around 7 p.m. near the 2100 block of Jackson Street.

Emergency services responded to the scene and found that Wade had been shot in the head and left thigh. He was immediately transported to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. Another indivi ...
