Death by Force

On May 19, 2023, 34-year-old security guard Adalberto Santiago was fatally shot while on duty at Preston Center Plaza in Dallas, Texas. The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. when Santiago confronted an individual attempting to break into vehicles on the second floor of the parking garage. A struggle ensued, during which Santiago was shot by the suspect. He was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
