Gary Reeves Blair, a 30-year-old male police officer with the Dallas Police Department, was tragically killed in the line of duty on March 20, 1986. Officer Blair, badge #4500, was shot and killed with his own weapon after making a traffic stop inside an apartment complex parking lot in the 1400 block of North Zang Avenue in Dallas, Texas.
