On August 12, 2015, at approximately 4:00 a.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting incident at 8081 Marvin D. Love Freeway. Upon arrival, officers discovered the bodies of two men who had been fatally shot: Avery Jones, 22, and Brandon Dixson, 27. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
