Death by Force

On June 25, 2024, 52-year-old Romero Strother Cook of Clarke County, Virginia, was fatally shot near the Sandy's mobile home community off Fairfax Pike. The incident stemmed from a dispute, possibly over mechanical services rendered by Cook, which escalated into a brief vehicle pursuit beginning in Clarke County and ending in Frederick County.
