Leticia Grant, a 35-year-old Black transgender woman, was tragically shot and killed on May 22, 2019, in Dallas, Texas. She was found in a parking lot in the 7800 block of McCallum Boulevard, and despite being rushed to the hospital, she succumbed to her injuries a few days later. The investigation into her death revealed that she was in communication with Kendrell Lyles, a suspect who was later linked to her murder through cellphone records and witness testimonies.
