On May 26, 2024, at approximately 12:15 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting incident in the 12600 block of E. Northwest Highway. Upon arrival, officers found 28-year-old Carlos Glover suffering from gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

The investigation swiftly identified 25-year-old Tyra Murrell as the shooter. She was arrested at the scene and initially charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
