On April 23, 2024, at approximately 8:00 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting incident in the 300 block of South Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers discovered two female victims inside an apartment: 17-year-old Drenesia Willis and her mother, 40-year-old LaNeshaia Pinkard. Both had sustained gunshot wounds and were transported to a local hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries.
