Nikkita Hurd Overton, a 38-year-old woman from Dallas, Texas, tragically died on March 14, 2015. Her body was discovered inside her burning home on Fatima Avenue in the Oak Cliff neighborhood. Initially, it was believed that she had perished in the fire, but an autopsy later revealed that she had actually died from a gunshot wound. The fire was determined to be an attempt to cover up the murder.
