On February 13, 2022, skeletal remains were found near Lavon Lake in Princeton, Texas. They were identified as belonging to Mercedes Clement, a 25-year-old woman who had gone missing on October 11, 2020, from Dallas. Clement was last seen at the Koko Apartment Complex off Harry Hines Boulevard. She vanished after being seen on surveillance footage entering the complex with a male acquaintance.
