Keysi Fabiana Matos Delgado, a 15-year-old Venezuelan-American girl, tragically lost her life on December 30, 2024, in Dallas, Texas. Born on June 15, 2007, in Lagunillas, Zulia, Venezuela, Keysi had immigrated to the United States with her family, settling in the Dallas area. On the night of her death, Keysi was in a vehicle with two other teenagers in the parking lot of the Timber Creek Apartments on Timberglen Road. According to police reports, 17-year-old Frank Molina Pacheco was in the driver's seat, and another teenager was in the back seat with Keysi. Pacheco allegedly began playing with a handgun, which discharged, striking Keysi in the abdomen and chest. Instead of calling emergency services, Pacheco attempted to drive Keysi to the hospital but crashed the vehicle on Dallas Parkway. He then tried to hide the firearm before authorities arrived. Keysi was transported to a local hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.

Following the incident, Pacheco was arrested and charged with manslaughter. He is being held in the Dallas County Jail with a bond set at $100,000. A witness in the vehicle stated that Pacheco had the gun in his hand when it discharged, contradicting Pacheco's claim that the gun went off accidentally when he handed it to Keysi. The case remains under active investigation by the Dallas Police Department.

Keysi's family has publicly expressed their belief that her death was not accidental. They allege that Pacheco was infatuated with Keysi and had previously made unwanted advances toward her. Family members claim that on the night of the shooting, Keysi was coerced into the vehicle against her will. They are advocating for the charges against Pacheco to be upgraded to murder, asserting that the shooting was intentional. The family held a press conference and organized a candlelight vigil to demand justice for Keysi.

Keysi is remembered by her family and friends as a vibrant and loving individual. She is survived by her parents, Hilda and Kildare, her siblings Kemberly, Kimberly, Kenderly, Kenyerly, Keyber, and Kevin, and her boyfriend, Roderick. A viewing was held on January 4, 2025, at Nueva Vida Funeral Home in Arlington, Texas, where loved ones gathered to honor her memory.
