Minnie Campbell, an 84-year-old woman, tragically lost her life on October 31, 2017, in what was later determined to be a homicide. Minnie, who was of African-American descent, was one of several elderly women targeted in a series of heinous crimes. Her death was part of a broader investigation into the actions of Billy Chemirmir, a suspected serial killer accused of preying on elderly women in Texas.
