Miguel Angel Garza, a 32-year-old Hispanic man from San Antonio, was pulled into violence on the night of August 20, 2024, when gunfire broke out in the 6400 block of Interstate 35 North on the city’s Northeast Side. Police said the shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. and that when officers arrived, they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. Garza had been hit multiple times and died from his injuries.
