On October 5, 2024, Luis Arcadio Garcia Jr., a 39-year-old resident of Laredo, Texas, tragically lost his life during an attempted robbery. The incident occurred in the early hours near the 100 block of W. Aurora Drive, close to Mall del Norte. Garcia was in his black Ford Expedition with a female passenger when three individuals approached, intending to rob them at gunpoint.
