On the evening of February 2, 2023, at approximately 8 p.m., Butte County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to reports of a shooting near the 4800 block of Lincoln Boulevard in Oroville, California. Upon arrival, they discovered 34-year-old David Adams suffering from gunshot wounds. Adams was immediately transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
