On March 17, 2024, a tragic incident occurred at the Vegas Knights club in Columbia, South Carolina, resulting in the death of 24-year-old Destiny Jones. The shooting took place shortly after 5 am, when deputies were dispatched to the scene.

Coroner Naida Rutherford officially identified Destiny Jones as the victim of the fatal shooting. The incident not only claimed Jones' life but also left two men wounded. Both injured men were taken to the hospital for treatment.
