A 15 year old girl is found beaten and burned to death less than 5 miles from home
On April 17, 2004, 15-year-old Silene "Erica" Eaddy was found murdered in a wooded area near Montgomery Lane and Pincushion Road in Richland County, South Carolina. Firefighters, responding to a small brush fire in the early morning hours, discovered her body, which had been severely beaten and set on fire.
