On November 14, 2024, 40-year-old Antoinette Michelle Hammonds-Colón was fatally shot outside a Bojangles restaurant on Harbison Boulevard in Columbia, South Carolina. She sustained a gunshot wound to the upper body and was transported to a local hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries the following day.
