A 23 year old woman is abducted from her home, her body found 2 weeks later
Beatrice Riley, a 23-year-old newlywed, was last seen alive at her home in Columbia, South Carolina, on the night of March 12, 1972. She was reported missing the next day by her husband when he returned home and found her gone, along with a few personal items. Nearly two weeks later, on March 26, her body was discovered in a wooded area off Atlas Road. She had been beaten to death, with several blows to her head and face.
