On a day meant for celebration, Mother's Day of 2023 turned into a day of tragedy in Columbia, South Carolina. Barbara Jeffcoat Dinkins, a 48-year-old woman known for her outgoing personality and beautiful smile, was fatally shot. The incident occurred in a home on Orr Street, where responding officers found her unresponsive.
