On October 10, 2024, 12-year-old Tristen Rudy Alexander Aguilar Rodriguez was fatally shot around noon at the Lamont Mobile Estates on Gregory Avenue in Lamont, California. Responding deputies from the Kern County Sheriff's Office found Tristen deceased at the scene.
