On January 28, 2019, 17-year-old Thomas Noe Romero was tragically killed in Lamont, California. The incident occurred around 1 a.m. when Romero was driving down Hall Road. According to reports, an unidentified person shot at his vehicle, causing Romero to lose control and crash into a fire hydrant, which led to nearby streets flooding.
