Death by Force

On January 27, 2023, at approximately 12:15 a.m., 22-year-old Xavier Javon Taylor was found with gunshot wounds inside an apartment in the J.C. Napier Homes complex, located in the 100 block of Lafayette Street in Nashville, Tennessee. Responding officers discovered the apartment door partially open and Taylor lying wounded on the living room couch. He was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
