On the evening of February 19, 2023, 61-year-old Linda Williams was fatally struck by a stray bullet while in her bathroom at the James Cayce Homes in East Nashville. The bullet entered through her bathroom window, hitting her as she was inside. Emergency responders transported her to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she was later pronounced dead.
