On the evening of May 6, 2023, Sedrick Yarborough, a 43-year-old male, was fatally shot in Nashville, Tennessee. The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. in the 700 block of Representative John Lewis Way South. Yarborough was walking on the sidewalk near Ash Street when he was confronted by a man who had been riding an electric scooter.
