On August 29, 2023, at approximately 3:45 p.m., 20-year-old Keonta M. Brown was fatally shot at the Citgo gas station on Brick Church Pike in Nashville, Tennessee. Brown had arrived at the gas station with a friend and was inside the store when individuals in a vehicle outside fired shots, striking him. He was transported by private vehicle to Skyline Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
