In the Napier-Sudekum community of Nashville, Tennessee, the night of Saturday, January 14, 2023, was shattered by violence that claimed the life of 32-year-old Fredrick Sparks. That evening, Sparks was found outside an apartment on Cannon Street with a single gunshot wound. Emergency services were dispatched to the 900 block of Cannon Street around 10:45 p.m. in response to the shooting.
Sparks, a male resident of the area, was quickly transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center
