In the winter of 2024, the life of 17-year-old Carlis Hunt III was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire on a street in Memphis, Tennessee. On the evening of February 6th, the young man was the victim of a fatal drive-by shooting in the Midtown area of the city. The sudden and violent nature of his death sent ripples of grief and shock through his community.
