On a tragic evening in Memphis, Tennessee, a 33-year-old Black man named Christopher Finley was fatally shot on August 10, 2018. The incident unfolded around 6:45 p.m. when officers from the Memphis Police Department's Tillman Street precinct responded to a shooting report in the 2400 block of Carnes Avenue.
