Keaston Akins, a 26-year-old man from Dyersburg, Tennessee, tragically lost his life on October 2, 2021. He was found shot in a ditch on Roberts Avenue, and despite officers' attempts at lifesaving measures, he was pronounced dead at West Tennessee Healthcare. The incident was part of a violent weekend in Dyersburg, which saw three separate shootings.
